Academic Regulations

Detailed information on Asian Theological Seminary'S academic policies and regulations.

  • Course Registration

Before the semester final exams, students must ensure they have registered for all their courses. This process is crucial as it officially enrolls students in their chosen classes, ensuring they are recognized participants and are eligible to sit for the final exams. Registration is an essential administrative step; failure to complete it can result in the student not being allowed to take the exams, which can significantly delay their academic progress and completion of the program.

  • Completion of Required Curriculum

Students must complete the full prescribed curriculum as set by ATS, with no exceptions. This policy means that there is no provision for transfer credits, so all coursework must be completed at ATS to maintain consistency in the educational experience and academic standards. Additionally, ATS does not validate courses taken at other institutions, ensuring that all students meet the same rigorous academic requirements. Furthermore, students cannot opt for independent study courses, which mandate that they engage in the structured learning environment provided by ATS and adhere to the same learning outcomes as their peers.

  • Issuance of Mark Sheets

Upon successful completion of all academic requirements and graduation, ATS will issue mark sheets to the students. These mark sheets are official documents that detail the students' academic performance, including grades for each course completed. This record is essential for graduates as it serves as proof of their academic achievements, which can be used for further educational pursuits or professional endeavors. The mark sheets provide a comprehensive overview of the students' academic journey and accomplishments at ATS.
